Are FLOW snowboard bindings good?

Posted on August 29th, 2009 by admin

ive been snowboarding for my ninth season now, and was thinking about getting flow bindings. i have never ridden them, and was wantin to know how well they respond and how good they feel compared to a 2 strap binding, as the flows design has only 1 strap. any of you ride them? any help or suggestions would be great, but please don’t suggest a different brand i just want to know about the flow’s, thanks
iam mostly a cross country, backcountry and powder rider, with some park.

If you buy the high end flow bindings than yes they’re great, I was talking to someone the other day on the mountain riding them and he loves them. He likes his bindings to be on the stiffer side and he rides it all from backcountry to park, so if you’re looking for a stiffer binding that has some real nice added convenience to them than yes check em out.

Can any brand of bindings fit on a burton snowboard?

Posted on August 29th, 2009 by admin

I am about to buy a burton snowboard but i want to also buy Raiden snowboard bindings but dont know if the bindings will fit the board. I was also wondering when you buy bindings do they come with the stuff to connect them to the board.
it is a burton clash snowboard

If the burton snowboard you bought is an ICS system then no you’ll need EST bindings to fit it, If it’s just your typical 3d hole pattern burton uses than you’ll just need to buy an adapter for the bindings to fit the board.

What is good intermediate freestyle snowboard, bindings, Boots?

Posted on August 29th, 2009 by admin

I’m 5 ft 5
125 lbs
Can spend about £250 so $500
size 8-9 Boot

where is a good site to buy all my gear and what size snowboard etc should i buy (i dont care about graphics).
Do you know any cheaper boards and bindings that are good, putting them both together gets to about £400 i was aiming for 200-300 :( ?

FREESTYLE/ALL AROUND ORIENTED RIDES

Never Summer SL-R
Libtech Skate Banana
GNU Street
Burton Hero
Capita Horrorscope
Omatic Awesome
Omatic Celebrity
K2 Darkstar
Rome Artifact 1985
Rome Agent

For a freestyle size I would look around 145-149

Some bindings to checkout

Rome 390’s
Rome Arsenals "Not THE ARSENALS"
Union Force
K2 Formulas
Bentmetal Biscuits ++
Flow Team
Flow NXT

If you have enough money go for the 390’s they’re really nice freestyle bindings.

Dogfunk starting on the 16th or 17th one of those days will be starting a big sale of 70% off on what they say will be a thousand plus items, would be a good time to save some money and grab quality gear.
