I’m new to snowboarding. Is it alright to leave my bindings on my snowboard?

I just bought my first snowboard this year. I was wondering if it would do anything to the snowboard if I left the bindings on for extended periods of time. Its going to be spring and summer soon and I was wondering if I should take them off of my board if I’m not using it for 7 or 8 months.

You can remove them if you need to store them in a tighter spot but if you leave them on just make sure that your whole setup is very dry and stored in an airtight water-free place or you will end up with beautiful rust allllll over your edges.

Just leave them on. But I would put the whole board in a bag to keep dust away.

Clean the board, dry it off well and store it in the bag.

If it’s dry, you’re completely fine. Just make sure you don’t store it in something like a snowboard bag if its still wet, that will cause rust and what not, but other than that you’re fine.
