Best freestyle snowboard bindings and boots?

Posted on September 10th, 2009 by admin

I am most likely going to be picking up a rome Agent. I need some sick freestyle bindings and boots to go along with it. I have been riding for 11 years. This past season was my first in the park serious riding a jibpan+cartels+hails. I can hit 40′ footers and I can spin 5’s, expecting a lot of progression in the next 2 years. What binding and boots will best suit my needs?

With the bindings – go light!

Look at the Ride MVMT bindings which are very light and minimal and are designed with the flex and strength you need to hit those landings.

Good Luck

How do I fix the springs in the front part of my snowboarding bindings?

Posted on September 7th, 2009 by admin

Yesterday it came loose sort of. I could still ratchet and tighten down and loosen up the strap, but it was just hanging there. So I look closely and the end of the spring should be under this little ledge of plastic but it keeps popping out. Any idea how to make it stay or if the spring is busted or if I just need new bindings?

Same thing happened to my K2’s. But its the end of the season, so i just rode it as it was. Gonna buy new bindings for next season, don’t know what yet. Def not gonna be K2’s.

What are the best free style snowboard bindings?

Posted on September 4th, 2009 by admin

I’ve kinda decided between the Ride EX and the Rome 390’s because i don’t have a huge budget. I mostly ride in the park and some back country stuff and some rails. I was just wondering what one of the two are better for that kind of stuff. I’m usually hitting 20 foot gaps and stuff like that. Please only comment if you have rode these to bindings.

Thanks

390’s are a great choice, durable with a nice soft flex and a good toe strap. I ride the rome arsenals similair to the 390’s just a lil less padding and price tag.

Union forces
Bentmetal Bicuits also good choices.

I’m looking for a new pair of snowboarding bindings this year. What should I get?

Posted on September 1st, 2009 by admin

I don’t like a huge highback on my bindings. I ride park and i also like to freerun a lot. What binding should be best for me?

for freestyle, I’d look at Rome 390s or Union Contacts. I ride Union Forces.

What is the best snowboard bindings for you?

Posted on August 29th, 2009 by admin

I don’t care about the price as long as it is good bindings,

I was think about k2 cinch

what do you think guys?
I’m a intermediate snowboarder for leisure

The best bindings for *me* are the ones i ride: Nidecker Pro 800. I mostly freeride and they’re solid and very responsive.

They may not be the best for you. What kind of rider are you?

what is the best snowboard/bindings for riding on the terrain park?

Posted on August 29th, 2009 by admin

ive been snowboarding for just one season and ive gotten extremely good and i just feel in love with the terrain park…i have a morrow board with ride lx bindings but ive completely outgrown it so im just looking for like the best set up for a ALL terrain board

There is no good board for terrain park. Whatever is comfortable for you, is probably the best board for YOU to ride.
