Will snowboard boots that aren’t burton work with burton bindings?

Posted on November 22nd, 2009 by admin

i know burton boots wont fit well with other brand bindings(learned that the hard way) but will other boots work with burton bindings without wearing?

Salomon boots have a slightly larger heel than most boots and have trouble fitting into some burton binding models. Other than that I think you will be ok.

I just replaced my bindings with Burton bindings on my snowboard and now i can not turn right. What happened? ?

My old bindings were lquids

Could be a lot of things, You could of put them on backwards you could of changed the width of them or the angles of the bindings compared to how you had your last ones, or the bindings may just be a completely different flex compared to your other ones.

Will Burton bindings go on a Rome snowboard?

Posted on November 17th, 2009 by admin

I have a Rome Graft and am just wondering if I can put on Burton bindings?

yea of course you can.
theres alternate disks you can buy at most shops and some of the bindings even come with it. my burton cartels came with both disk options.
any burton binding will go onto any board except the burton EST bindings. they can only go on select burton boards.

Snowboarding… Burton bindings and boots?

If I have a pair of women’s size 7 Burton boots, would I need SMALL or MEDIUM bindings? (The bindings are Burton as well).
Thanks in advance!

Size 4-6 uses small bindings. For you, I would say a medium. Hey check out the deal at sierrasnowboard.com for bindings.

Will Drake bindings fit a Burton snowboard?

I am looking at these Drake bindings on ebay. . . http://cgi.ebay.com/DRAKE-MIKEY-LeBLANC-SNOWBOARD-BINDINGS-LARGE-BLACK-NIB_W0QQitemZ150320149181QQcmdZViewItemQQptZSnowboarding?hash=item150320149181&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50#ebayphotohosting

I need to know if they will fit a Burton snowboard. There’re not for me, I don’t snowboard but I have a friend who wanted to buy these a few years ago and I want to surprise him.

no those will not fit on a burton board. burton boards use a three hole pattern or Infinite channel System. the ICS will need to be used with burton specific bindings but the three hole system can not be used with the type of binding you are looking at. They are meant for boards that have a 2×4 or 2×6 hole pattern.

Will my K2 Cinch bindings fit on a Burton snowboard?

Posted on October 25th, 2009 by admin

I’m looking to upgrade my board, but I am wondering if my K2 Cinch bindings, model maybe…2005-2006, will fit on a Burton board?

Sorry to say that everyone up to this point has been wrong… yes your K2 Cinch bindings will work with ANY Burton board.

All K2 bindings come with UNIVERSAL base plates.. you just turn it and can only use 3 screws. (so do most other bindings these days..)

And for those few Burton’s with a single channel.. you can still use those universal base plates.. Just turn it so the 2 lines cross the channel and use 2 screws. If your ride hard or are a bigger kid and worried if those two screws per binding will hold you then you can buy a burton base plate to throw in those K2 bindings and the problem is still solved.

From personal experience though that whole freedom channel (several companies have had it although Burton is the first to use just one channel) is not the greatest. On hard impacts your binding can still slip. Thats why I ditched my Capita Yetti from a few years ago. Great board otherwise but I hated those channels.

If you have burton snowboard boots do you need to have burton bindings?

boots and bindings never matter; you can always interchange them. now bindings and boards is where you can run into problems. always check the screw hole patterns of your board and your bindings to make sure they match before making your purchase.
