Cheapest place to buy a burton snowboard and bindings?

Posted on November 8th, 2009 by admin

Im looking for a beginners board for this season, have been recommended a burton feather (?). Where is the cheapest place I can get hold of one, I dont mind second hand as long as its in good condition! (have tried ebay and nothing as yet).

Why Burton? There are a ton of great beginner boards out there with out the cost of a new Burton. Go to your local board shop and let the guys there help you make your choice. The feather is a good board but you have to look at weather you really want to learn how to ride. You will progress out of a board like that in a mater of a season. Thus you will have to get a new board next year. Do your home work, don’t just go and get a board that your friend rides or suggest. Get the board that’s good for you not everyone else.

like, were r cheap snowboards with good bindings. my friends today had some, they r not profesional but they r like cheap ones but r very good cuz the bindings r like clip in and all that crap, not ebay but wut store can i find one, like not just a crap answer but were is a place like jewel or walmart?

Don’t buy cheap snowboards. You get what you pay for. If you pay crap, well you get the point.

cheap snowboard shops in new hampshire?

Posted on October 28th, 2009 by admin

I am new to snowboarding. So I need to buy basically everything.. I need a snowboard, bindings, boots, a helmet, and possibly goggles. Which as I’ve learned its going to coast A LOT. So does anyone know where to get really cheap snowboard stuff? I don’t mind if it’s used as long as it’s good condition. But it has to be a store because I want to look at it up close and get measurements and stuff because I’m new. I DO NOT WANT A WEBSITE THAT DOESN"T HAVE A STORE.

please and thank you(:

Obviously your local board shops will have the best selection on gear however most of since it is QUALITY gear wont exactly be cheap unless it’s on sale. The cheapest gear would be at retail stores like big 5,sports authority ect ect. But that stuff isn’t exactly quality. If you don’t have much money to spend and still want quality gear your best bet is to go down to your local board shops around the end of the season, Pretty much all shops around than have their usual 50% off sale on all the gear they couldn’t sell that year.

Where is the cheapest place to buy snowboard boots and bindings?

it can be an online store i’m trying to get boa boots in black and bindings in black i have the board just need new bindings and boots thx for the help all :) also are boa boots easy to use?

Well first of all, Boa’s are awesome. By far the best system I have ever seen our used. Price wise it depends a lot on the brand that you get. Also, buying this time of year is going to cost you more versus the end of the season or in the summer. However, I always look at froogle.com to see what I can find. Other sites I have found good deals on are trusnow.com, peterglenn.com, shopatron.com, and the-house.com. All are reputable companies that I have bought from in the past. Also, if you have a Zumiez nearby they have good deals from time to time. Just don’t let them talk you into Burtons, they are pricey.
