What is a good site/store to find extremely cheap snowboard boots and/or bindings?

Posted on October 1st, 2009 by admin

I have been trying to find snowboard boots and bindings for months. I ordered some great boots but the company that sent them screwed up everything and now I don’t have any (its a really long story)

I am looking for a really inexpensive pair of snowboard boots and bindings. I’ve checked out Ebay already. I’m not going to be using them a ton so I don’t want to spend alot on them.

I’m a college student… so that pretty much automatically makes me poor haha. I’m just looking for a good deal.

Thanks!!!!

there’s a lot out there, but these are some of the one’s i’ve had the best luck with:

sierrasnowboard.com
dogfunk.com
backcountryoutlet.com

also, whiskeymilitia.com is great for getting name brand stuff cheap, but their merchandise is limited & changes hourly, so it really depends on when you check the site.

hope i helped:]

Cheap Intermediate Freestyle Snowboard/Bindings/Boots?

Posted on September 28th, 2009 by admin

BUDGET IS £250(372 $) could maybe push 400 $ (NEED ALL GEAR)
im 14
5 ft 5
125 lbs
intermediate rider
need gear that will last a few years
should i shop online or find a store
i live in london so if you know anywhere around there please say.
need a freestyle board bindings and boots.

It shouldn’t matter where you get one. You should get an older model rather than new because they’re much cheaper. You could go to ebay for something used, or a ski shop clearance section to find the old models. Here’s a link to a catalogue of clearance items:

http://shop.ccs.com/catalog/browse/NavCategory–clearance.guys
If they don’t ship overseas just look for a similar site in your area. Also, being 14 you’ll do a lot of growing in the next couple years so use this guide & get one a little bigger than it recommends

where can i buy some cheap snowboarding gear from end of season sales?

Posted on September 25th, 2009 by admin

since the end of season is near, where can i find some cheap gear? i dont care bout the brand and stuff, as long as its affordable. you guys know any websites? im looking to get board, boots, and bindings for under 200 altogether

Man, $200 is a pretty tight budget, I’d say impossible to get the "whole package" if you want good stuff even on major sales. My suggestions:

- Find a good friend that wants to get rid of a good extra/old board/bindings and offer him some money (and some favors);
- Check out these websites:
http://www.boardsforless.com
http://www.proboardshop.com/
http://snowboards-for-sale.com/burton_boots/
http://snowboards-for-sale.com/
http://www.usoutdoorstore.com/d_snowsports/snowboard-shop.htm
http://www.o2gearshop.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=1_24
- e-Bay?? ;

Now, you’re asking for website sugestions but to buy boots I’d tell you to go try them on before you buy.

Good Luck!

where can i get a cheap snowboard?

Posted on September 22nd, 2009 by admin

I live in Vancouver, BC. and i am looking for a very cheap snowboard, bindings and boots… im not a newbie my mom just doesnt want to spend alot of money on this. i can do everything on most montains, including the park… i am also looking for a very strong board, cuz i am a very big 13 year old… (145LB, 5′6)

i am 13 also and i have been snowboarding since i could walk. go to a local shop and a used 1 will probally work fine. do not buy on the internet because something is always wrong and the sizes are messed up. at most shops u can trade in old boards bindings boots coats and wat ever else u have. so i would recommend trading ur old stuff in so u can spend more money on boots bindings and a board. I have the burton clash and it is a good board*

where can i get a really cheap snowboard with bindings?

Posted on September 13th, 2009 by admin

i dont care if it aint got a graphic on

Plently of options, would not really advise buying second hand, snowboards don’t last for ever especially if there not looked after but if you are desparate ebay does have snowboards listed old and new, another recommendation would be to visit the shops at any of the snowdomes as they have big discounts on demo models for boards (mainly) and bindings. Failing that if you can wait until after the season say april time you will be able to pick up a new board from the 06/07 season really cheap as the retailers will want to sell the stock they have left. check out Snow and Rock or The Snowboard Asylum

What is the cheapest snowboard bindings out there?

Posted on September 10th, 2009 by admin

You can probably get a pair for like $60, but beware…

My bindings, Fusions, kept breaking one strap at a time. It was ironic!

One strap broke on one trip, then another on another trip, then another on another trip, and all have been replaced, which has meant a mandatory 30 minutes lost per trip to the mountain going to the repair booth each time we went!
