FATblades – SKIING WITH SNOWBOARD BOOTS!!!

Posted on April 8th, 2009 by admin

SKI BLADES WITH SNOWBOARD BINDINGS AND BOOTS — The skier shown is of upper intermediate standard and demonstrates the versatility of FATblades. To accommodate any snowboard boot binding, the patented and design protected FATblades are 16.5cm wide at the narrowest point. Being FAT (like fat boy skis) but short (82cm) like ski blades or skiboards, the “FATblader” is able to demonstrate great performance and versatility. Using FATblades promotes more of a shoulder width skiing stance which is great for stability and comfort. The use of snowboard bindings and boots gives the FATblades more of a cool snowboard style. Every snowboarder should carry a spare pair in their snowboard case. Items are flat when unscrewed from the bindings and will also fit into a large suitcase. Great fun for snowboarders who want to ski without losing their cool snowboarding style. Great for skiers who prefer the comfort and style of snowboard boots and clothing. Watch traditional Swiss / Alpine style skiers struggle through powder as you float past them on FATblades. Fantastic to use — A real breakthrough! Is a Ride snowboard, bindings, boots, helmet, goggles for $150 a good deal?

Posted on February 9th, 2009 by admin

My friend is going to give me an old Ride Liquid snowboard (I think thats the model), oxygen boots, oxygen strap on bindings, a helmet and goggles all for $150. The board comes up a little lower than my chin and Im about 130 pounds, Im kinda a begginer to snowboarding.

That is a good deal! As long as it is in decent shape and the binding straps work ok that would be a good deal for a beginner. If you would try to buy everything from a ski shop you would have to pay A LOT more. You could also look on eBay for a good deal. You can usually find used snowboards on there with bindings and boots that go pretty cheap, especially in the summer when not too many people are looking for them. Good luck! and hope you love snowboarding if not try skiing( you wont fall as much when you first start out) Either way they are both AWESOME sports! Have fun!
