is there a place that sells those lenses or those goggles with those lenses?

Smith Optics lets you pick the lens for their goggles. Check out their site.

Is the lens on the "Anon painted white/silver mirror lens" snowboard goggles really like a mirror?

http://www.tactics.com/anon/helix-goggles?src=gglb

that’s them, the white ones, so what im asking is can you see through the lenses? like if i was wearing them would you be able to see my eyes if you were looking or would it just be like a mirror? and also are they fog proof?

If you are wearing them, no I wouldn’t be able to see your eyes, I would just see my reflection. All Anon goggles are fogproof so yes it wont fog up on you.

Hope this helps.

Should I get anon or spy snowboard goggles?

Posted on November 13th, 2009 by admin

Which is better? And what kind should I get if money is really no object. I already have Dragon DXS goggles but i wanted something new for this year.

If money really is no object, go for the Spy Orbit or the Anon Realm… both brands are good and both of those goggles are higher end ones… it’ll just fall on personal style.

Good luck and enjoy whatever you get!

How do you clean up scratch marks on snowboard goggles?

Posted on November 8th, 2009 by admin

WIthout buying a new lense..

I saw an adverisement for scratched glasses, the product looked like a clear liquid and it was supposed to fix scratches in glasses and sun glasses, I think it would work for goggles. Try calling a few places that sell glasses and ask about it.

Can i get this pair of matorcycle goggles as snowboard goggles?

Posted on October 31st, 2009 by admin

http://oakley.com/pd/1317/3079

do they have that pair as the same thing but for snowboarding?

and where can i get it, a link would be good

you can definately get them for snowboarding..but unless you live on the west coast where the sun is always bright i would not go with a fire lense. i use to ride with oakley wisdoms fire and they were impossible to use at night also i would just go with a nice pair of A-frames or wisdoms (idk your budget but maybe check out some anon goggles i’ll give you a link at the source) the major difference between snow and mx goggles is the cushioning and the venting. the venting is what will prevent your goggles from fogging up.

Water in between Snowboard Goggles, double lens?

Posted on October 28th, 2009 by admin

i have a pair of double lens Snowboard Goggles, and used water to wash them all the way off, and water got traped in between the two lens. I was wondering how i could get the water out of them without ruining the goggles. Will the water come out on its own?

Either the two lenses are not sealed, or the seal has broken. If you know where the water came in, first try a hair dryer. You just want to blow dry air across the water so it will evaporate.

I’m looking for snowboard goggles where the lenses are not see through. can someone link me to a couple?

Posted on October 25th, 2009 by admin

where you can not see through them.

I don’t care about brand, as long as the lens aren’t see through.
Thanks
jeez… I meant see through from the other person’s perspective of course I want to be able to see through my goggles.

haha, i got you. anon goggles are great, but im not so sure about the see-through-ness, some goggles have a great tint, so great to the point its liek a mirror. but the goggles with the higher tints are generally way more expensicve. electric makes good goggles too, but the same thing, more money = more tint. oakley is a great brand. i prefer them above all others. chaun white uses them, so they have to be good and so does Terje haakonsen (spelling?) they too are more expensive for a greater tint, but their lenses are all-together better. Better frames, better lenses, better quality. you can also customize them at http://www.oakley.com. go with Oakleys, or if you must Anons.

good luck

Has anyone installed glasses into their ski/snowboard goggles?

Posted on October 22nd, 2009 by admin

I’m trying to make a brace or something to hold my glasses inside. I’m going to take the arms off the glasses and just mount the front part. Looking for ideas.

some goggles are made bigger so you can fit your whole glasses in without worry, But this design i think is not going to work. I thought there a prescriptions to goggle lens, maybe not lol. Get contacts they work well too!
