I've been rockin Flow Flite 3's this season. I love'em! They are so quick to put on once getting of the lift. That is after you get the hang of them. I love being able to ride right pass all the noobs sitting on the slopes strapping their old school bindings on. So much faster. Go for'em!
References :
I started with Flows and I liked them as a beginner, but when I upgraded to straps, I never looked back. Flows are easy & fast to get into (I could get into them coming off the lift and not even stop before the slope), but they have way too much flex for great control.

Unless they've made some much stiffer versions in the last 6 years, the better you are, the more you should avoid Flows.
References :
There's nothing wrong with the strap bindings, I like them better because I like my bindings real tight so I have faster response times.

Also, only an idiot would say only newbs wear flows. one of the best snowboarders at our mountain uses flow bindings so that statement has no value to it.

You wear what you want to wear and don't worry about what those idiots that say flows are for newbs have to say
References :
One of my good friends rides for flow, he's about the only person I know that can stand them, comfortwise, but if they are comfortable for you, then just go with them.

The only thing is, I've heard from alot of people, that they are not comfortable, because its the back that comes up, it create alot of forward lean, or pressure, and it doesn't create a good border between boot and binding.
References :
Well if you're looking into flows and you ride a lot don't bother with the cheap ones. They break pretty easy so the only ones I would look at if you do ride a lot would be the TEam and NXT line.
References :
It's all a matter of preference. I prefer "traditional bindings" and have buddies that swear by FLOW bindings. The reason i prefer traditional bindings is for the adjustablity. I tried FLOWs and just could'nt get them diailed into my liking.

I would suggest maye try and borrow some FLOWS and/or Traditional bindings from aome newbies and figure out what works best for you.
References :
Over a decade of Snowboarding.
