Is it okay to use motorcross goggles as snowboard goggles?

Posted on September 7th, 2009 by admin

some goggles say motorcross for motorcycles and stuff so can i use a a pair of those for snowboarding? cus they’re a lot cheaper

the glare is not gonna help at all.
i would recommend to get a pair of snow goggles, because they are supposed to get WET. so are motocross goggles, but they are for warmer conditions.
i have tried that before, and the whole outside of my goggles were frozedn!
after tat i just went with snow goggles and it was just perfectly fine.
no glare (polarized lenses) and no fog- up, and no freezing!
my goggles were perfect (i have a pair of anons)

More then likely they say motorcross for a reason and will not reduce the glare. But im sure they will protect your eyes and not fog up as they are still goggles

They will fog up bad when you sweat. Trust me spend money on that stuff its worth it in the end. I got dealer price on 2 pair of bike goggles at $6 and wore them riding, threw them in the woods they were so bad, eventually went back and got them weeks later. I know now to spend money on little things like that because its worth it. Life lesson cheap means cheap.

    I guess so,
It wouldn’t help with the glare though.
